The results of the US 2020 census are now available. It shows the US population increased by 23M people, almost all people of color.

New 2020 census results show increased diversity countering decade-long declines in America’s white and youth populations

Republican strategist know that with each passing year their base of voters shrinks. Republican politicians are doubling down on new restrictive voting laws because they know in an open and unrestricted election, they will lose.

Nevertheless, the politics of California are stranger than most. They’ve been broken since the 1990s, when shortsighted Republicans had the boneheaded idea to alienate Latinos by pandering to racists who thought the state was being invaded by Mexicans.

Good plan. Why not make your party’s brand toxic to a group of people that today represents 40 percent of the state population?

Latinos scurried away from the GOP, and into the waiting arms of Democrats who responded by, well, doing nothing. What was already bad customer service by Democrats toward Latinos got even worse. They took that loyal constituency for granted and treated them as an afterthought.

Now Latinos seem to be getting ready to return the favor. Don’t expect many of them to go to the polls to save the job of a governor who never gave them the time of day.

A recent Emerson College/Nexstar poll on the recall election—taken in early August—finds Californians evenly split, with 46 percent in favor of the recall and 48 percent against. But that poll also shows that Latinos are the only racial or ethnic group in the state that favor the recall; 54 percent want to recall Newsom while only 41 percent want to keep him in office.

It's time to put to rest the lie being told that Biden was following Trump's plan for Afghanistan.

... both the ex President and the Afghanistan war are part of the past. Dredging up comments from a failed leader and a lost war is not a path forward.

The hard part is now dealing with the large numbers of refugees who were evacuated from Afghanistan.

There's a reason we're still in the copier business. Quite obviously not because the guys here have much in the way of brain power.

                    You're not paying attention. ;-)

Trump and the Afghanistan war were both colossal LOSERS, do you enjoy losing?

BREAKING: Afghan President Warned of Taliban ‘Invasion’ but Joe Biden Focused on ‘Perception’

A leaked transcript and audio recording of a call between President Joe Biden and then-Afghan President Ashraf Ghani about three weeks before Kabul fell showed that as the Afghan president warned of a Taliban “invasion,” Biden pressed him to change the “perception.”

According to a report by Reuters, in a 14 minute call between Biden and Ghani on July 23, the Afghan president told Biden, “We are facing a full-scale invasion, composed of Taliban, full Pakistani planning and logistical support, and at least 10-15,000 international terrorists.”

But Biden, on the call, pressed Ghani to publicly project he had a plan to control the worsening situation in Afghanistan even though there was no such "plan" to do so.
Biden also told Ghani, “I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban.”

Later that day in another call also leaked to Reuters, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army Gen. Mark Milley and U.S. Central Command commander Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie pressed Ghani to change the “perception” of the war.

McKenzie added: “I do not believe time is our friend here. We need to move quickly.”

This blows up Biden's narrative of "we did not know this would happen so fast".

If this is true, Biden must be removed from office. Joe got visibly upset and walked out on reporters today when they asked about Afghanistan.

                              LOL!!
How naive you are! I expected more from a man your age. Obviously the years have not been very gracious to you!
The war will never be over as long as ISIS-K, the taliban, al qaeda, iran, etc. want Americans and the Western World dead.

This "chapter" might be over for now, but we'll be right back in it before you know it!
And even though, as you say, "The War is Over", it doesn't change the fact that Biden flat out LIED about the situation, and then caused the worst loss of military life in over a decade while trying to clean up the mess he created in the first place!

Impeachment is coming for biden! As long as Old age doesn't get him first.

And if Kamala doesn't call for invoking the 25th, then she too will be impeached for "dereliction of duty", for knowing how completely incapable, incompetent, and unqualified Joe is for the job, yet allowing him to stay.

The Dominoes are going to fall, and it's not going to be pretty!
