Re: Are you a technician?
My first copier tech job was for a Mom&Pop Minolta dealer. At the end of my tenure there I did it all, other than sales. Check this out:
I drove a truck to pick up machines at the coporate warehouse.
I setup machines.
I delievered machines, upstairs most of the time =-(
I networked new machines for print/scan features.
I did demonstrations on new machines for customers.
I delievered toner, paper, etc.
I was the Dispatcher.
I was the Parts Manager.
and of course, always the Field Technician.
I know I'll get a lot of "You're my Hero"s .... Just Sayin'Comment

I never went to the company warehouse.
Small operations are like that. First company I worked for did stationary as well, as a tech I've even had to fix a ball point pen for a customer. ( they werent always completely disposable)Comment

Re: Are you a technician?
I fix everything and get credit for nothing, so I guess that makes me a technician!

Re: Are you a technician?
I was a tech last time I posted here. Now I am not. I retired last week, a bit ahead of time. Thanks to all for your assistance while I was here, and I will probably look in now and again to see what is happening. I may even do a bit of part time work, and need assistance. Thanks again and for now farewell.Comment
