I'm a tech. Awaiting promotion to Tea Boy.

I turn screws only to be told that was the wrong screw and this is why the main circuit breaker has tripped and entire building has no power. *joke*

You carry tools in tour pocket when you are not at work " just in case"
You have toner fingerprints on your face noone will tell you about.
Your friends and family want you do do free fixes on your time.
Your customers try to get you to cheat your company and do side work.
You try to adjust the grid voltage on your tv when the picture is fuzzy.
You can advise people on how to copy thier ass without breaking the
              copier or leaving marks.
It really pisses you off to be called the "Xerox Guy", unless you work for
              Xeox.
You have ever used tools from your box to eat or prepare your lunch with
You learn the art of bullshit to deal with customers.
You get excited when you see your brand of copier on a TV show
You talk aout how cool " Office Space " is
You know you don't know it all and you want to know more.
dont lose sight of the fact that its just a job, funny points all the same.rich

                    Can be fixit!

I'm an engineer, I WILL come to your premises ONTIME! (Unless: 1. the car breaks down, 2. I'm having lunch, 3. I would rather go fishing, 4. I just don't feel like it.)

Nah, we really do try, guys! But you know how it is, sometimes we just get stuck at the previous client.......

P.s. found the WOOOOORST modern fuser ever! MPC4500, when the sponge roller disintegrates, and then thermistors go awry, then the fuser belt wrinkles, buckles and eventually snaps, to let all the bits pour into the machine... once you've cleaned all that cleaned up, you get to rebuild the fuser, not fun! ruuuuuuuuuubbish design!
