    I was cutting the grass the other evening and I realized there really isn't much grass in my lawn. Oh well, it is still green.

                            The fan on the ac system in my truck went out yesterday. With temps between 90 and 120, and humidity between 100 and 200 per cent, guess how many times a day you still try to turn the dam thing on. Nothing makes the workday more pleasant than sweating profusely by 9 am.

                                                            Because of this dope alone, a good portion of the town of West Quincy, MO was destroyed.
                                                            I lived in central Illinois during the flood of '93, and this was pretty big news there back then. I might even have some of the original newscasts from then on VCR tape, but many things were disposed of during my move to Iowa, so I'm not sure.
