    Re: The random thought thread

If you don't mind, I'll celebrate this holiday personally.

I'm touched how many members stepped up to support me, when I was clearly just wrong. I guess I must be doing something right.

When I look good at work, it's because of all of you backing me up.
    Thanks everyone. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Dave, when I saw it on Facebook, the first person I thought of was you, so I had to post it here.

For me a wallet is necessary. It balances out the cell phone in the other back pocket so I don't hurt my back.

Have fun. That was dumb. Of course you will.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

We have the Gold Coast Indy down this way, but I've never taken time off to got to it.
I've heard good reports from peers.... one day....

C'mon Neo, get with the programme, the Indy cars haven't been at the Gold Coast for about 5 years. All you get is the V8 bash 'n crash cars.
Back when the Indy cars were at Surfers and Lexmark sponsored the race I was lucky enough to jag a ticket to a corporate box and that was the last time I had anything pleasant to say about Lexmark.

I was amazed to find out that the only 3 countries that don't use the metric system are America, Liberia and Burma. You don't really think of Liberia and Burma as places that have their shit together.

And if Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were born anywhere else than America then all the default settings would be in metric and the world would be a more peaceful and harmonious place.

Gates & Jobs are two of the top 10 Entrepreneurs who made it big without a degree.

I'm wondering if that's where a few others went wrong ....

Actually, the history of Liberia is fascinating. Something to check if you have time.
On the other hand, metric speed limits were far too slow when I got to drive where that was the law.
