Looks like the Irish are serious about what they consider beer...Having tasted a warm Budweiser, I kind of understand.

Used Wypall brand paper towels can make it through the laundry.
If they aren't too badly burned out, just stick it in your back pocket and you'll be fine.
Best I can tell, they should make it through at least three full power single guy laundry cycles before they self destruct.
They're not worth a crap for cleaning glass after they've been washed, though. Stupid fabric softener.Comment

Re: The random thought thread
Every once in a while, technology reminds us who is in control.
About 15 years ago, my mother bought a new bathroom scale. One of the hi-tech ones that talks. For 15 years, it has worked flawlessly. About 3 weeks ago she turned it on and instead of the normal voice saying it was calibrating, it spoke German. No matter how many times she rebooted it, it spoke German. She found no answers online, but did find the scale had a 20 year warranty. She called the factory. She was told by a confused rep that they do not make scales that are bilingual. The rep said she could mail it to them for repair. She declined. A few days later, it went back to English. A week later it went back to German. She called her sister so she could hear it and. When she held the phone to it, it went back to English. Mom has decided to live with it, and just look at the display when it speaks German.
The factory says they do not now or ever have made bilingual scales?????The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Stephen HawkingComment

I got similar voice/ sound story.
My little boy got a police car for his 1st birthday. The sounds it suppose to make are siren when moving forward/backward and when the steering wheel is pressed it sounds the horn/clacson.
My partner took the toy and made some erratic/random movements and the car switched to turbo-charged engine sound with dump valve pressure release sound. We both looked at each other with awe and could not figure how this was triggered. Played with it for a while and the boost sound wouldn't go away. Switched toy off and on. The boost sound was gone forever. Never re-initiated the random pattern to change it back to the much preferred boost sound!
Couldn't find anything online. We now have fun when we have visitors trying them to switch the boost back on

I have seen electronics do STRANGE things when they have low battery!
One of my kids have an electronic toy drum, probably fisher-price or some brand like that!
This is a drum that is motion/touch sensitive so late one night while I was working in the basement,
the darn thing starts going off playing a weird little ditty!!!
FREAKED ME OUT!!!
Might as well have been ghosts playing drums!!!...a bit unsettling to say the least!!!

Remember Furbies. My wife had a couple. Packed them up and put away in garage. I am in the garage and must have moved something. One of them wakes up and starts talking. Freaked me out. Re: The random thought thread
I had a noise that would give off a sharp high pitch beep about every 10 or 15 mins. The constant aggravation was like Chinese water torcher : you're waiting, waiting, waiting for the next high pitched squeal so you can find the source of the bloody noise. After a few weeks I finally tracked the noise source to a box of junk under the bed which contained a unused battery operated fire alarm. The darn battery had run down that low it had started the replace battery cycle beeps. The contemplation of finding the noise source drove me fruity for weeks, you could only hear it when everything was quiet.
It was the most irritating at night just about the time I was falling sleep I would hear a quiet little: "tweet" ... then nothing for 15 minutes. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: The random thought thread
Why is it that the batteries in smoke alarms only go flat at 2.30 AM ?
Surely in this digital micro chipped age they can programme the batteries to run out at 6PM in the evening when I'm still awake enough to climb a ladder? At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.Comment
