I agree that Regan was a good man as were most of POTUS that followed - I'm talking about 'intregrity'; which I believe most politians, and a lot of corporate CEOs lack.

Don't you know that you are supposed to steal things from Facebook and post them here in the Random thought thread or in the Joke of the day thread.

Re: Long rant about things. I feel the need to complain.

Creating toner calls to correct inventory (they were used, but not written off at the time), while on the phone with Cigna trying to figure out why the hell my biometric health screening information hasn't processed their system when it's been over a month, and finding out whether that's going to affect me in terms of my company jacking up the cost by $50/pay period because the insurance company didn't get their posteriors in gear by the deadline.

I wouldn't imagine the company would fault the insured for a failure on the part of the insurer to meet a deadline, but you never know.
We got our physicals and blood work done in August, the deadline to do so is 30 September. so if the company (in its infinite wisdom) decides to squeeze me for Cigna failing to meet a deadline that doesn't affect them, I may have some heated conversations with the benefits department.

Five years ago I would have said the main reason to join this company was the medical benefits, the amount of coverage compared to the cost was extremely lopsided, beneficial to the insured. Every year it has increased in cost, and coverage has decreased. Now it's lopsided to the detriment of the insured.
I'm paying about $6,000 per year for family medical coverage, and with the deductible we are extremely hesitant to use it.
I'm considering dropping the coverage altogether if they raise the cost again this November, and notifying the IRS that I will not be paying any fines they might deign to impose on me for failing to have insurance.

And the meter count is "less than last time" because I serviced this blasted thing sometime after I did the toner call.
