    [CQ] BH C368 grabled/noisy print

    Hi there,
This C368 is prionting attaimage.jpgched sample print. To my experience the MFP board has gone bad. Any thoughts about it and what's reason for the fault.

I would try another PH unit.
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

carry out initialization and image stabilization - then gradation. that's once you've sorted the black lines
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

Have you replaced any drums before the problem?

I doubt about it. Cos same problems occur in older c550, C452 etc and the culprit was the MFP board.

re-chip the drums. failing that, i would try a HVPS.

I second the PH unit. I've had this same problem before.

First I would try cleaning polygon mirror in PH unit and SOS sensor - common problem with this machines in dusty environment - PH unit is not sealed very well, in extreme cases we had such problems once in a month, so we had to add additional sealing (sponges + tape around PH unit covers).
Next make [Print Head Skew Adj.] - > [Reset] then [Stabilization + Initialization].
If cleaning doesn't help replace PH unit.

Color registration highlited in the photo is not your main problem - main problem are lines across your prints, color registration problems are just the result.

if you remove print head/laser and tape over half of the glasses then reinstall and print and now half the page is gone it will confirm thats the problem. i recently had a fellow tech go down rabbit hole only to unplug laser and problems vanished. would hate u to do the same
