    KM 364e: washed out stripe

Hi, my Bizhub 364e is printing a white stripe on all pages, always in the same location. Total page count is 180k. With the incredible help of an experienced CNT forum member, I tried these fixes:
    - replaced drum
    - replaced toner with KM original
    - replaced transfer belt assy with original
    - pulled laser printhead and cleaned glass slit with isopropyl and dry lint
    - inspected and cleaned fuser rollers

I am at my wits end - what is next?
    Thank you!

It seems like you've covered everything. As its an uneven stripe it does look to me like a dirty laser blocking the light but you've already covered that.
can you go into Service mode-Test Mode-Halftone Pattern and print off A3 prints for each colour at full (255) and half (128) Bleed and see what they look like?

It's a B&W model not color. I feel bad as I've assisted this member offline for a long time and he has tried everything I suggested and still same issue. As last resort I suggested he pull laser & clean and after he reinstalled problem went away, but came back after a day or so. Since cleaning Laser Print head worked for a short while this leads me to believe the PH or front side board is bad, only things he hasn't replaced.....

It is indeed a B&W machine, forgive me I misread the initial post. yeah I think a new (or known good 2nd hand) laser unit would be the next thing to try.

Transfer roller dirty or worn down in the faded area? Feed direction is not specified, so just a guess.

I would inspect DV unit for dirth inside left from garbage toner. You can even dump it vacuum it thoroughly and sieve the mixture(not for the beginner).

If it worked after cleaning the laser try there is a chance that if you were using non OEM toner the developer unit is contaminated and dumping toner on the laser. Pull laser again to see if its contaminated . If so you can do what Tsbservice said or order a new developer unit.
It would also help if we knew the direction the sample is feeding

As I suggested to OP outside this forum is to replace the laser. Maybe he can post on this forum if someone has one from a B&W model they want to sell. Can't remember if he changed the dev unit but would also install new unit since black developer units are a lot less $$ then color. Even if the level history is showing good #'s around 6 % I would still replace dev unit. And to put this to rest wouldn't hurt to replace the transfer roller as suggested in this thread. These 3 things will cover only things left.
