I don't understand how this my problem happened. The previous machine had the same firmware version. The drivers are identical, I only changed the machine's IP address. Tomorrow I'll try to install the drivers with a Windows 10 PC. Could some setting in the machine's memory have changed? I don't know if the previous owner had the same finisher as me

However, if you become a contributor of this forum a member might send them to you. The other option is to contact copier tech since he sells firmware files.

Ok so the firmware you have is recent. How about the function version?

The last postscript driver I see on Konica's website for XP is 4.1.0.0. Usually the release note PDFs indicate which firmware versions work with the drivers and possible function versions (this was an issue especially on the 7 series). Do you have a Windows 10 or 11 PC somewhere that you can install the latest PCL Universal type 3 driver on? That'll help us rule out incompatibilities between a really old driver version and a much newer firmware on the copier. On the 7 series for example if the firmware and function version are too old, things like finishing functions don't work right or it never finds the copier with SNMP. I'm not sure if you are having that issue with the huge age gap between the driver version and the firmware on the copier.

Like I mentioned in another post about what "real techs" are, it's a tech who is retired and still likes to help people with their knowledge. Synthohol is one of these people. I've had the pleasure of working with him and this guy knows his shit with Kon/Min copiers !!!!

Some versions of the driver can have issues with some versions of firmware and function version.

What function version does your machine have?
    What firmware is it on?

and since you swapped machines as tsbservice said, firmware version on the finisher may be an issue.

Machine and finisher/punch may mismatch firmwares.

Holy Windows XP Batman! Microsoft hasn't had support for that since 2014.

We don't speak the same language so I can't tell for sure.... It looks like there is an "PS" at the end of that properties window. Are you using the postscript version of the driver? Any reason to not use the PCL6 version?

This may have something to do with Firmware and function version. Can you post them?

If you enable SNMP in "ports" tab on WIndows it can auto configure the options provided SNMP is also turned on on the copier.
