Make sure the USB-C cable that comes from the diplay panel is firmly inserted in it's jack at the very top under the port access cover on right side of the copier. See Item #1 in the attached picture.

A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

Failed bootrom with black screen requires a repartition of the storage board, or a new storage board. I've seen this twice.

I've just had a C300i with a "black" screen, before it happened, I was getting constant D313 errors, it ended up being the CPU board
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

I can recommend a service that repairs CPU-B modules for the "i" series for KM. Since most CPU-B module failures are hardware-related,
software tools provided by the manufacturer will not always help.
