Konica c554 toner drifting into the drum grids

    Hi,

I have a Konica c454e just over 1000000 copies but it's had new devs original toner, new transfer belt, drums and fuser, the issue is toner is been sucked onto the drum grid and causing blank portion strips on the prints after about 200 copies, change the effected drum, magenta, and then it comes back, what causes this, it had also been doing it on the yellow, the black and cyan are nice and clean.

    Thanks

    Amigo, boa tarde.

Muito provavelmente seu revelador está ruim. ja não está mais segurando toner ou os selos da caixa de revelação estão danificados. Causando nuvem dentro do equipamento. Verifique a caixa de revelação e seus selos junto com o pó revelador!

Check out the PDF file on the post linked to below. Look at section D on page 3 of the PDF. This is most likely what you have going on...

My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

Check for blocked air ducts replace filters.
