Lol... system error clear for one piece of paper trappedA tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

Hi, this is an error to do with the tray lifting motor, it’s usually paper trapped behind the paper tray, causing the tray not to rise. Obviously it could be caused by the motor or sensor but I would start by removing the tray and checking for paper. I believe that code is tray 2 but I would check behind all trays, if there is no paper I would then remove the complete pickup unit and investigate further. Good luck!Comment

I tried that by isolating the tray 2 and the trouble code cleared, so I need your advice what is the real issue is, is it the PS22 or M13 faulty or other thingComment

Not much more to offer here for what the "real issue" could me. You have been given some good detailed advice to work with. You will need to troubleshoot the things mentioned above, i.e. checking sensors, lift motors in service mode. If you don't have a service manual I suggest you get one. Best of luck👍 2Comment

I usually test MFUs in the following order:
Step 1. Take a working sensor from tray 1 and install it in tray 2.- If the issue moves to tray 1, then...
- If everything stays the same, proceed to Step 2.
This is what my working sensors look like when the second tray is closed (with no paper loaded):

Step 2. Take a working lift motor from tray 1 and install it in tray 2 .- If the issue moves to tray 1, then...
- If nothing changes, move on to Step 3 ))
Step 3. Check the wires connected to the sensor and the motor.
PS. Make sure the paper lift mechanism (inside the tray itself) is functioning properly.
PPS. If none of the above helps, move on to the CPU board (CPUB) and software-related troubleshooting.
Beyond this, I don’t know how else to assist with your diagnostics. I think many engineers would agree with me.
