Konica C360i - Scan to email

    Hi guys,

On a new install with a Konica C360i and are having issues scanning to email.

The machine says job complete but all the users dont recieve the email,

They had a c450i before that worked fine so all we did was export the details from that via USB and imported into our machines,

Machine is on latest firmware, TLS version is 1.2 - 1.3, googles DNS is in. All ports are unblocked as was done before with previous machine.

    Scanning to 365

If it's left the machine, by telling you "Job Complete" then it's not technically the copier, however, I've seen this before, when the send email address was different to the authentication email address. The machine will be allowed to send it, but it won't reach its destination. If both emails are the same, ask their IT to see where it's going. When exporting data from one to the other, it doesn't always export/import the data in System settings, Machine settings
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

      spam folder?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

Check junk or spam as the first email from a new install can get flagged. Gmail and Yahoo almost always dump it into the junk folder.
You could also test it to yourself or any email outside of the customers network.

Seconding spam or junk or inbound filtering due to email address inconsistency however if it say job complete its left the building.

Nothing in the spam/junk folders, ive just thought the previous c450i had an administrator name in the -system settings - machine settings section, would that make a difference as our current ones dont have it in?

All machines IP Address' have been whitelisted

Both authentication email address and device/admin address are all the same

Have you tried changing the DNS to what the pcs in the office have? Run a quick ipconfig /all and match the dns. It has been a while but I think the Konica office 365 guides have something about that.

I tell my customers if it sends without an error then the wrong to address was entered , it went to spam or something on their network is blocking the incoming email. All the machine know is that is it successfully made it to the email server it cant tell you if it made it to the final destination. If you have access to the from email address that the machine is using you can log in to it and check the sent folder. It should tell you if the email was undeliverable .

we logged into the email account and there is no sent document from the email account (only from when the previous machines were in)

we have input their DNS details

i have tried to send to multiple users and our own email address and there is nothing being received, very strange one! the only think that is different as i said is the administrator name in machine settings which i will try when next on site,

would the machine possibly need an SSL cert?

Have you tried setting it up on a device in your office, to see if it works, with the same settings. Or do you have a 365 account on a device at your office, which you can then export to the customers device, just to see if it works. If it does, just change the email/password to the customers.
