BIZHUB C554e error after been deconencted from the main supply

Dear all,

I have having a issue on a bizhub c554e. few week ago the printer have been disconnected from the main supply during a day. after that we I restarded the printer a messages asking the serial number was prompted.

So for me it's was oblivouis that the problem come from the battery. I changed it, restarte on service mode and then enter the serial number and langue setting.

now when I resart I have a new error "TPM chip has been changed - Initialize TPM setting" but in the service mode I haven't he button "TPM".

I called a dealer, and he told me to buy a new printer because the motherboard is breakdowns.
I am also a technician, but unfortunally not printer. for me hear "change your printer because the battery came out" it's saying konica make planned obsolescence...

Hopping someone can help me to solve my issue, anyway one thing sure, If i have to by a new one that will not be a konica !! .

Problem
The MFP (bizhub 4e series) will suddenly lose it's meters and serial number
Note: The following messages will be shown and will not clear:

• "TPM Chip has been changed"
• "Only black and white printing is possible."
• "Fax is currently unavailable"
• "Banner Print Job in Queue"

Solution
CAUSE: Possible data corruption after powering OFF the MFP for an extended period of time.

SOLUTION: Perform the steps below.
1. Install the MFP Board if the board is a repaired board run the Reset Tar file 3 times on the MFPB
2. Once the third Data initialization is complete Power Down the main power and wait 20 seconds
3. Insert firmware stick with (latest Special firmware) and turn the MFP on
4. When the firmware screen comes up check/correct Machine and Type, then flash firmware.
5. After firmware has loaded, power down machine remove USB and power machine back on.
6. Allow the MFP to perform it's recovery process if the CD390 occurs recover data.
7. On reboot if the TPM chip has been changed message happens order a New SSD board through Warranty FOC program.
8. Install new SSD Board and flash machine with latest special firmware
9. Power ON machine and test all functions.

Also check backup battery on MFP board, it may be dead.

I am working on, right now I am on step 5, I selected all for the upgrade. just one silly question.. How many time that should take ? I am waiting since 1 hour..

look like working again !! I have just a alarm asking me to replace all my drum unit..
Can we reset that , because they are almost new ><

you can try and turn off the consumable reminders/warnings in service mode.
worth a try.

it's works, now I havn't error, I can navigate on the menu, the scan and preview is working.
BUT..
when I try to copy or print a test nothing happen, i can see it on the job list but nothing more..
I have a warning saying "the toner filter need to be replaced"

I have reset the counter so now, not alarm, no error code but that doesn't print

are the meters recovered or all zeros?
did you boot to firmware stick and set proper machine and type?
at this point i dont see the harm in running initialize all data, you will need movie data afterwards which if you dont have, one of us will provide.
you've come this far, i think we all want to see it come back to life

I will look that, one think , i didn't had this step after the flash :

and also I think not all accessory are set because when I put a paper on the top feeder to be scan, I hear it moving when I put the paper but when I press the button that scan on the glass.

If you talk about the counter on the user menu all are 0
if you talk about counter on service mode they are not empty

step 6 was an "if" so that's ok.
make sure everything is enabled in problem unit isolation.
make sure the proper feeder is selected (624/701) in system 2 adf settings.
select and verify machine and type when booting to a firmware stick.

(edit) service mode, stop 0 clear (enhanced security) life stop setting, not stop.
