Biz C3351 fax?

Is it necessary to install the memory kit UK-211 when adding optional FK-517 fax kit to a C3351? I know with the older models you had to add memory.

Thanks but I have the install instructions and looking at them made me ask the question. To me "When" makes me think it's not necessary but figured I would ask to be sure. Have customer that wants fax installed and I only have the fax no UK-211.

No, you don't need the UK-211.

I don't think you need it either, looking at the installation guide, it's telling you that if you are fitting a UK-211, to fit it first, because the fax is installed above it .

Install it without and test before fully reassembling. Worst that can happen is it will throw a code or not work at all, then you will know for sure. I see that the consensus is that it doesn't need it, and I would tend to agree that that, but again, you can test to be sure.
