Thank you for the advice. I just ordered a new Ram Stick from two different manufacturers; let's see if that helps. If not, I will try and change the battery.Comment

Re: bizhub C224e; Error Code C-E301
Is the firmware up to date? I would hope that whomever you had out to service it tried that at the very least. There have been a number of firmware revisions that claim to have corrected a multitude of problems that give the C-E301 error. It's a generic error that leads you to then look at the "Detail Codes" in the Management List to try and determine what the issue was. Unfortunately, the Detail Codes are mostly a well kept secret by KM as to what each one means.A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Re: bizhub C224e; Error Code C-E301
Most of the time C-E301 is resolved by FW, on the last page of the management list there are codes, normally a zero, followed by an "x" then a series of letters and numbers, the "Read me" bulletin that comes with each FW normally lists what is "fixed", a lot of the times they are "C-E301" errors, followed by the code, a couple of years ago, I thought I'd list them, in case I came across them....but they got to be too many, but anyway....here's my list, before I gave up listing them....

Re: bizhub C224e; Error Code C-E301
Good day, everyone.
Since the beginning of this year, our office printer, a Konica Minolta bizhub C224e, has been giving us an error code of "C-E301." The Konica Minolta Service was here already and told us that the motherboard had a problem and needed replacing.
They gave us an offer of 1.300€ to replace the motherboard and get it back to working condition.
But this just seems odd to us, so I would like to ask: has anyone else ever had this error code, and how did you fix it?
If the motherboard is really fried, then does anyone know where you could potentially buy a replacement and how to set it up?
Great, thanks in advance. I hope that everyone is having a nice day.

I would also try updating the firmware.
Personally I would not spend $1,300 on this old machine.Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

The only way to get to tech rep is to go into "trouble reset", but instead of pressing "trouble reset", go into tech rep through the "back door" and turn off the HDDTip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...Comment

Re: bizhub C224e; Error Code C-E301
Hi.
Please check the voltage on the BIOS battery. If the battery is fine and the voltage is more than 3.0 volts.
I had a similar problem with the device C224e. Attempts to flash it were unsuccessful. I don't know why I made this decision, but I took a tester and measured the voltage of the BIOS battery CR2032. The tester showed 1.8 volts. These readings turned out to be too low for the proper operation of the non-volatile memory. After replacing the battery, I updated the firmware and the problem was solved.
Not every specific error reported by the MFP directly indicates causality. This is a big problem with Konica.Comment
