    [CQ] M6026cidn color reg

    Hi Kids

So I have a M6026cidn that is giving me major fits.. The box isn't holding registration . I followed the TB for color registration fix but the it doesn't hold, color registrations starts going out after a couple dozen prints. I don't know if this is helpful but its the m and y colors that are going severely out of wack , c for the most part is holding .The reg is so bad that if you tried to realign the registration without the firmware reset , it will take at least 30 tries..
I did replace the transfer belt and checked the two belt sensors..

    Any thoughts ?

    Thanks much for the help...

Generally it's the primary belt, but if a drum or DV unit isn't laying down the correct density, that will throw the registration off also.
I do the internal test page to check the density of each color. You could also use Blackcat's test pages that he posted from a flash drive.
            Hope that helps !

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I had same problem and it was firmware , brand new transfer belt ,cleaned sensors, and
performed coarse adjustment then the fine color calibration after the engine reset.
