Heh, back in the day my bother, um, I mean younger brother took the works out of one of those cards that plays music when you open it and taped it to the bottom of a drawer. Drove me nuts until I found it.

One of my mates told me how he super glued a $20 note to the bottom of his shoe. He left enough sticking out that it could be seen clearly as he walked down the busy street. He had a group of friends walk behind him an watch everyone stamping their foot trying to get the $20 note off his shoe. ...

Usual disclaimer: Do not try this at home we are trained professionals.... lol...

Many years ago when my son was a baby I was convinced I had a ghost in my house (I still am, but for different reasons now). Every night when I went to bed I could hear a lullaby very quietly as I was getting into bed.
My son had been bought a bib that played music, of course, it was hand wash only, and, like all hand wash items, it stayed at the bottom of the dirty washing basket for months on end. Every night when I got undressed I'd put my dirty clothes in the washing basket, that would put pressure on the button, start the music playing, and the clothes on top muffled the sound enough so you couldn't locate where it was coming from.
I was quite disappointed when I found it, I quite liked my ghost playing me a lullaby as I was getting into bed

MK104: Light Sensitive Electronic Cricket (Audio): Velleman

It is a "Dark Activated" electronic Cricket Circuit that when you turn off the light, it starts the chirping!...you can adjust the frequency and rate of chirp!...I have one of these an thought to add in a thermistor to automatically adjust the chirp rate based on temperature...just like a REAL Cricket!!!

When you turn the light on to find the cricket it will stop chirping!

I am soooooooo glad it's Friday, 3 problematic machines in 3 days, an Equitrac issue, my lovely PostScript problem that I asked about yesterday, and today a challenging address book problem, never mind, feet up now

The three peach trees at Mom and Dad's place are bearing, so if there are peach trees in your area keep an eye out for that.
Mmmm, fresh ripe peaches straight off the tree.
On a lighter note, I now have a plate of peach pits, I need to try to plant them in the back yard and see if I can grow my own trees.

We have a bunch of 12 year old IT whiz kids to look after that sort of rubbish, if I can't poke it with a screwdriver I aint interested.
