Re: Trimalleolar
I got a brief look while heavily sedated. Four angles of the same bones. Imagine a 1 1/2 liter pop bottle with two rows of seven screws, top to bottom. I'll post it if I see it again. It was some kind of monochrome thermal technology on glossy paper. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Trimalleolar
G'day Blackcat
I did something similar a few years back while moving furniture. We had a long wood plank off the top of a high set of stairs; while carrying a heavy wardrobe yours truly did a false step off the end and landed on my shin bone at the bottom step tread. Holly crap did that hurt, I thought I broke my leg. My family still see the funny side of it to this day --vascious little turds.

I saw the doc yesterday, it's going to be a Tuesday visit each week I guess. I saw the foot unwrapped for the first time since it happened. It's purple and yellow on the front. The back looks like I'm transmogrifying into a reptile, with scales in gray up the back of the calf. I'm guessing that is the blisters healing. There is a 3" surgical scar near the ankle bone, colorful, but not inflamed. The X-rays show everything in place. Screws, plates, everything. It looks like a foot. All I have to do is teach it to be a foot again.
The intention is to leave the hardware in there. If it becomes a problem, then some or all of it can be removed as needed.
I'll be getting a new hard cast each week, at least during the next few stages of healing. This one is purple, to match the rest of the foot.
The pain seems to be under control, so I'll be attempting to cut back on the painkillers. Being that I take as little pharmaceutical anything as I can, I don't have much experience with the effects of these pills (or any others). If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: Trimalleolar
Sounds like you are the right track, hang in there. I'm about an hour away from getting a molar extracted, I am hoping to be beyond comfortably numb for that. At least I won't be walking out with any extra hardware........ Does your health insurance let you chose what color for a cast? May I suggest black, magenta, cyan, or yellow?Comment

Re: Trimalleolar
Yes, maybe 8(?) color choices: white, yellow, peach, blue, red, purple ... and two more I'm not remembering.
At least with teeth, you usually end up with less than you started with.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: Trimalleolar
I got my first walking cast today. I'm not allowed to actually walk, but I can take it off, wiggle my toes as much as possible, wash a little, and adjust it when it gets uncomfortable.
I've attached a couple of pictures of the slab of roast beef that used to be my right foot. If you get queasy from looking at large jagged scars, I don't recommend looking. Most of the bruising is gone. In my humble opinion it is much more beautiful than a month ago.
My next job is to teach it to be a foot again.Attached FilesIf you'd like a serious answer to your request:
