Almost certainly, the hospital he was in is not known for it's cleanliness, in fact it's downright grubby, but they sorted dad out, if I have to suffer an infection that's a small price to pay for a healthier dad

That's good news to hear about your dad Debs, hope he continues to make a speedy recovery. Your infection could be the result of the stress and strain of your job as well as worrying about your dad, hope you too make a speedy recovery

Sorry I haven't been on here for a few days to update, I have a bad throat infection and am off sick
The good news is, dad came home from hospital a week ago, he still needs the district nurse to visit daily, but they've been doing that for 18 months now, but he is definitely on the mend, thank you all again for all your kind thoughts

Glad to hear your dad is now home.

Had you let us know about your throat infection earlier, we would have been praying for you to get better.

Anyway, it's nice to see you back able to post again.

That's not old at all ........When I was 50 , I thought 60 was old. HA ! I'm past that and now thinking .....
HMM ; 70 - 80 - 90 ? NO BIG DEAL !
Besides ... it is just 110010 ... or if you look at hex , you're only 32 .

I'm calling it the 11th anniversary of my 39th birthday
I don't think 50 is old, I am healthy(ish) and I don't think I look almost 50, I'm looking forward to being half a century

At 66 I have to agree with Henry. I have always agreed with the saying that youth is wasted on the young. If you feel young and think young, that's all that is important.

In some Asian societies they count age from conception. That would make you already 50 and me already 67.

On the normal way of looking at things, upcoming Facebook events show that Paul will be 62 on the 28th.
