Wow! not sure how it could get that hot and not throw a fuser code. I know that model is Konica Minolta's "ugly stepchild" and wasn't their best design. Not many sold by the dealers I know. With that being said something is missing, there has to be more to this story????
If it was me I would light fuse and get away!👍 2Comment

What about your fuser?
Anything else near drum melted?A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

if it melted like that without any codes then that machine is an insurance and safety risk, im sorry but there is no way i would ever leave that machine unattended for a second if that melting damage happened during its use.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...👍 1Comment

Sir this is a new machine. I had Replaced first Drum unit for melting that time machine total counter was 5525. Again after 1500 copies Drum unit melting again without showing any error code. Iam surprised. And for your kind information we use original Drum Unit. Last time I decreased the Fusing temparature at -10 in service mode but it will not work. Please share any check point suggestion.Comment

if its new then place a warranty claim, seriously even on a copiers worst day it shouldnt melt inside from its own heat.
if its new then you really shouldnt even try to fix it you may void the warranty.
the plastic melts at around 300F+ and paper catches fire at 415F. i cant imagine how much heat that fuser must be giving off to affect something BELOW it.
good luck, this is bad situation. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

Something fishy may happen here I never seen anything like that. Is this client problematic. Maybe someone helped with that drum damage and want to blame machine and service 😞A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. What about the enviroment the copier is in, is it extremely hot? Could the fuser exhaust / cooling fan be blocked, if fan not working would throw code. Did you try changing any of the power settings, sleep mode, etc? We usually turn off sleep on all Kon/Min models but in this case I would turn sleep on and if customer is low volume have go into low power / sleep ASAP like 1 or 2 minutes.👍 2Comment

Maybe you have a failed fuser fan or blocked air filter.
