    Bizhub 458 with stained edges

My printer has stained edges and I don't know if it's a configuration problem or a part problem. The problem only occurs when scanning and copying.

Hi, if this is only happening when scanning or copying this must be to do with the scanner unit. To me it looks like the mirrors are out of alignment, is the skewed image on the original or is the machine skewing the image as well?

lift the front left corner of the scanner and make a copy.
looks like someone used the copier as a table or stepstool and trapazoided the damn thing.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

        Good suggestions from others.

What about copying with original placed on glass?

Apparently it was during transportation here. I noticed that there were signs of impact on the lower parts of the printer. I will contact the seller and request a refund.

you can try taking off upper left cover and loosen all the screws behind that cover , Lift up on front left of the scanner and while holding it up tighten up the screws. This may help but if it was hit to hard the frame my be bent

Like the others said you should be able to lift that corner up. Something heavy was shipped on top of copier and pushed that left front corner down.

If there are signs of damage don't attempt to repair it, there may well be other unknown issues. Yes get a refund!

Definitely, don't attempt any of the repairs suggested here, the person who supplied it may try and put the blame on you

Depending on how severe the damage is I would attempt the repair since it's a fairly common issue when machines are shipped. I would make the seller aware you are going to try and repair and if it don't work will want a refund. I'm sure it will be ok with them before a refund. *Take detailed pics before you do anything!
