[CQ] Kyocera 5035 SRDF duplex issue

Doc feeder is fine doing 1 to 1 and 1 to 2. Selecting 2 to 2, the original flips and scans the second side first. The trail edge has a what looks like a "buckle" touching the slit glass seems to form and the text gets stretched a few millimeters about a 1/2 inch from the edge running from front to rear of machine ( not a line caused by dirty optics, glass or DP skew adjust.
Then after scanning the second side, the document then scans the first side and all is ok with that image. Cleaned a 1 way in the drive section, saw and felt no burrs in the turnover section.. rollers are cleaned, no binding or paper buckling.
    ?
SIM mode settings are not whacked out for DP adjustments

I came across something sort of similar on a CS-3035 just the other day. It's also common on the Sharp AR-M450N. The second side of duplex had backgound and lines intermittently. The first side was perfect, always.

This was a tech-induced error. The document processor was incorrectly aligned with the slit glass. It took me a while to notice, but the corners of the DP did not align with the corners of the top of the machine. If you raise the DP just a little, you may see that the rear of the white plate sits on the far right edge of the slit glass, but the front of the white plate climbs the ramp where the paper exits, not even close to the slit glass.

If this is the case, adjust the right rear hinge to align the DP on the slit glass. The tech that did this was trying to correct for skewed originals through the DP. New rollers took care of that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

this 'stretching is from front to back of machine, not the intermittant slit glass,DF adj screw fix on the back of the rear right hinge
      but,
I'll double check the slit glass seating. Iv've had Minolta AFR-19 adf cause "the squiggly line near the rear of the machine but this is all the way from front to back.
      thankx for the reply

You may even have to replace the left hinge. That can cause issues like that. Takes about five minutes.

Duely noted jimbo1, tried a paper jig on the rear of the feeder at the left hinge already,no help.I will look at several other srdfs in the meantime but it could be the whole feeder need removed from the machine, studied and then repositioned.
