In addition, the two files FORCED_UPGRADE & DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP in the flash drive are case sensitive and must be written in capital letters

I've also seen these machine can be picky about the USB stick. Try a different USB stick as well, newly formatted FAT32. You can even try 2 USB sticks, 1 on the front and 1 in the back.

You need special swup files and full altboot file (about 500mb) for special altboot

Your problem is not with the file, flash or software, you have formatted the boot hard partitions, the file SWUP.USB is available on the site of Xerox technicians and you do not have access to it. The best solution for you is to take an image of the hard drive of the same device with the software ACTIVE DISK IMAGE and Restore on your hard drive, this will solve your problem.
Of course, it should be noted that when you reset the hard drive, reprogram the device with the same method as you had done.

The files that I have posted the link to are the files of the full version of Altboot. Unfortunately, our friend formatted the hard drive and the boot partition is lost, and he needs the file SWUP. Otherwise, he can take a backup from a similar hard drive.

You need these files for special altboot. First must write the sd card image file on new 4GB sd card and put this new sd card into machine.
You cant use image file from another machine used sd card.

If this procedure dont works and presuming the copier dont have another defect the last option is to do altboot from machine pws altboot. That mean you must have pws altboot software.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your opinion. There is no need to use a new sd. It can do this with any sd ram of 4 or 8 gig, even if it has been used before. It is only necessary to use the image of a healthy sd card.

                            Hello
Considering that friends send many messages about programming Altalink 80 series devices and most of them have problems, I will try to upload all Altboot problems in the form of a diagram in this forum by tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing that diagram! Now, as for restoring a corrupt SD, I have personally not been able just yet to clone a SD from another AltaLink.
