It appears you missed the sarcasm.
I loaded my 9mm, .22LR, .243, and shotgun, put them on the table, and watched them all day. Not one of them shot anybody.

People on the other hand ARE the problem. Criminals specifically, and no amount of laws make any difference to them.

Dear Sales Service Guy..I wouldn't have missed. I spend more than adequate time at the local practice range with some individual instruction. On the ligher side, to ease any tension on this post, there is a copier that's been beating me up that I may draw my weapon on..Comment

In 1929 , the Soviet Union estabished gun control. From 1929 to 1953 , about 20 million dissidents were rounded up and exterminated.
In 1911 , Turkey established gun control. from 1915 to 1917 , 1.5 million Armenians were rounded up and exterminated.
Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945 13 million jews , Jehovah Witnesses and others were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935 and from 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents were rounded up and exterminated.
Guatemala established gun control in 1964 . From 1964 to 1981 , 100,000 Mayan Indians were rounded up and exterminated.
Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979 , 300,000 Christians were rounded up and exterminated.
Combodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people were rounded up and exterminated.
I already mentioned Rhowada's 500,000 to 1,000,000 people killed in the 90's in a earler post..
Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th century because of gun control = 57 million.
So like saleserviceguy says, don't tell me gun control doesn't work. The numbers prove it.

I saw a car the other day.
It was black and scary looking. You could tell that it was designed to kill people. It could go 100 miles over the speed limit. We need to ban those scary looking cars.Comment

Hmmmm. Amazing stats. But who is going to be defenseless? Who has said they are going to take away your guns? Where is that stat? All that will happen is it will be a little more difficult to obtain a gun. A bad thing? No. And who really needs a magazine that holds 30 cartridges? No big loss either.
So, keep your guns if they make you feel safe.Comment

I saw a you tube video of some guy shooting a rifle with a 30 round clip. He then shot the same gun with a 10 round clip and then put in another 10 round clip after it was empty and then popped in another 10 round clip after that one was empty . He got of just about as many shots in the same amount of time. maybe 5 seconds between the first 30 round clip than the other 3- 10 rounds clips. I know what you are saying. You think it will cut down on killing. But it will not.
I really don't think it will make a bit of deference one way or the other.
They just let out of jail a sex offender in our state last week. Judge didn't even set bail. Just let him out. Within 6 days he raped a young 18 years old girl. Why the hell didn't they keep the guy in jail. The judge that let him go said he made a MISTAKE. Tell that to the young girl that was raped. SO if we arn't so easy on the crazy , sick crimanals there would be a lot less crime.
Gun control is not about the gun. It's about the control.Comment
