Whoops sorry - my fault entirely! Took a photo of the code before I left to look at some other things. I’ve now zoomed in a bit now- my apologies, the eyes are getting old. Try these:

        Serial: A5C4021032667
        MAC: 00:20:6B:8B:C8:ED
        Request code: Z93T9-7SFKX-TH2HJ-MNLEN-5VSQZ-2G8YD-ENBRG-EYDDT

If I enter [Stop] -> [0] -> [C] it brings up the CE Reset Screen but since serial number is not displayed and date is wrong a reset code cannot be generated by you.
                Hello Jotunn,

With some luck I managed to regain access to service mode and have changed the default password to 9272 (twice).

I know this is a bit off-topic but currently the machine reboots to a screen with the 4 sharkfins / bars and a thin orange line at the top (not a screen issue) with the blinking orange status light. I have been in touch with the local KM service guys but they are unable to help and have said that they do not support the machine any longer. Just wanted to know if you would be able to guide me with what else I could try or if I should go ahead and scrap the unit.

Hey jotunn, if you could help one more tech out here without ssd support. I also can't get into to service mode. Your help is very much appreciated!

I would start a separate thread about this to get more eyes on it, but for starters give diagnostic mode a try:

A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...
